Doing what Women In Training, Inc. does on Saturday mornings! When WIT first started, Dr. Brianne Smith, CPA, was the first person to call to offer pro bono services.
Dr. Smith is an accountant, and said: “Young women need to know how to earn and manage money to break the cycle of poverty and succeed in life!” We weren’t ready for that level of thinking at that time; however, here we are two years learning “Financial Literacy for Women” in the WIT Leadership Development Circle.
