WSFA Interviews WIT Founders & Mom of Cheerleader Shot at Dadeville Sweet 16 Party

WIT is raising funds to help cover uninsured expenses related to Trinity’s rehabilitation

Women In Training, Inc. has launched a fundraiser to aid in the recovery of Trinity Richards, the Pike Road High School cheerleader who was shot last month at a Sweet 16 birthday party.

The 16 Days for Dadeville: Fundraiser for Trinity is designed to help the teenager’s family cover expenses related to the long recovery process ahead. The fundraiser will continue until we reach the $5,000 goal.

Trinity, 16, was attending a friend’s 16th birthday party in the small town of Dadeville, Alabama, when she was shot four times, including once in the head. Four young people were killed in the shooting and 32 others were injured.
