WIT Awards Scholarships to WIT Leadership Development Academy Graduates

At the WIT Senior Tea in May 2026, the Women in Training, Inc. Board of Directors awarded scholarships to the four Senior Monarchs who graduated from high school in the Class of 2026. The flowery event was held at the historic Smith-Byrd House Bed & Breakfast and Tea Room in Prattville, Alabama. To date, all Monarchs who graduated from high school matriculated to university; the same is true for this cohort.

Thanks to the leadership and generosity of WIT Board Chairwoman Alabama State Rep. Rolanda Hollis, all four graduates earned a $500 scholarship and the following honors:


  •  United States Congressional commendation from Rep. Terri Sewell of Alabama

  •  State Legislative commendation from Speaker of the Alabama House of Representatives Rep. Nathaniel Ledbetter

  •  WIT Certificate of Achievement signed by WIT Chairwoman Alabama State Rep. Rolanda Hollis and WIT co-founders Breanna and Brooke Bennett.

Monarch of the Year Chassidy Hogan, 2026 Graduate of Park Crossing High School. Chassidy is committed to attend Trenholm State University.


 Senior Monarch Robyne Bates, 2026 Graduate of of Booker T. Washington Magnet High School. Robyne is committed to attend Tennessee State University.


Senior Monarch Kornelia Green, 2026 Graduate of Booker T. Washington Magnet High. Kornelia is committed to attend the University of Alabama.


Senior Monarch Amelia Simpson, 2026 Graduate of Brewbaker Technology Magnet High School. Amelia is committed to attend the University of Alabama in Birmingham.
