Happy New Year!

As I reflect on the past year for Women in Training, Inc. (WIT), two words come to mind: Onward and upward. A nonprofit birthed out of the ideas of young Brooke and Breanna, guided in leadership by their parents, Adeyela and Bradley Bennett, this organization has expanded significantly. Even as a global pandemic literally shut down most of the world, WIT continued to expand on its upward trajectory.

Although the heart and focus of WIT has been to help those in poverty, this year we have seen an expansion that encompasses not only helping the less fortunate, but also cultivating young ladies to become future leaders in our community and even in the world. Efforts in pushing legislation forward, menstrual education and inspiring youth to actively engage in our society continue to be key roles for WIT. Not to mention, the talented and hard work of the board members of Women in Training continues to help the organization thrive. Read more here.

With warm regards,
