Women in Training, Inc. Seeking Applicants for
WIT Rites-of-Passage Circle

Women in Training, Inc. is accepting applications for the Inaugural Women in Training Rites-of-Passage Circle. The purpose of the Circle is to prepare disenfranchised Black, Biracial, Hispanic and Indigenous middle and high school girls to be culturally aware leaders in a global society.

The program will run from January to December 2021. Highly trained WIT volunteers will facilitate interactive workshops and field trips to historic landmarks with a small group of girls on the third Saturday of each month, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at 1977 Books in the Kress building on Dexter Avenue in downtown Montgomery. WIT will provide each young woman with two healthy snacks and lunch for each session. The WIT Rites-of-Passage Circle is possible thanks to the generous support of our donors.
