Dr. Stephanie A. McCorvey has been a passionate healthcare provider for more than twenty years. Driven by selfless service, she has shared her talents and skills professionally as a military officer for more than 22 years; and through civic organizations within the community for more than 30 years. Dr. McCorvey received a B.S. in Pre-Medicine/Biology from Florida A&M University, an M.S. in Physical Therapy from North Georgia College & State University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Alabama State University. Currently, she manages physical therapy clinics for Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System, which provides services to more than 140,000 veterans. Although a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Reserve, Dr. McCorvey remains active in federal health care professional organizations. A strong advocate for active, holistic approaches to well-being, Dr. McCorvey enjoys all things in nature. When not helping in the care of her aging parents, she enjoys music, playing tennis and traveling to learn new food and cultural experiences. Her newest interest is in cheering for the Army Black Knights – as she is the proud Mom to Quinton II, a Cadet at the US Military Academy/West Point.
