Dr. Stephanie A. McCorvey has been a passionate healthcare provider for more than 20 years. Driven by selfless service, she has shared her talents and skills professionally as a military officer for over 22 years; and through civic organizations within the community for over 30 years. Dr. McCorvey received a B.S. in Pre-Medicine/Biology from Florida A&M University, an M.S. in Physical Therapy from North Georgia College & State University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Alabama State University. Currently, she manages physical therapy clinics for Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System, which provides services to over 140,000 veterans. Although a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the US Army Reserve, Dr. McCorvey remains active in federal health care professional organizations. A strong advocate for active, holistic approaches to well-being, Dr. McCorvey enjoys all things in nature. When not helping in the care of her aging parents, she enjoys music, playing tennis and traveling to learn new food & cultural experiences. Her newest interest is in cheering for the Army Black Knights – as she is the proud Mom to Quinton II, a Cadet at the US Military Academy/West Point.
