Once a month, dedicated Women In Training volunteers drop off menstrual and hygiene supplies, as well as COVID-19 personal protective equipment, to agencies that serve at-risk youth. Courtney LaShae and Breanna Bennett distributed supplies to Aid to Inmate Mothers, New Beginnings Educational Center, Common Ground, and Brantwood Children's Home.
Thank you, Zonta Club of Montgomery, for inviting Barbara Wells, Women In Training former Board Chairwoman and President, to speak at your meeting about our work to ensure menstrual equity for young people.

Ms. Alabama Distributes WITKITS
Women In Training volunteer, American Royal Beauties Ms. Alabama Perdale Johnson, was the first runner up in the American Royal Beauties pageant! For her service project, Perdale distributed #WITKITS of menstrual, hygiene, and COVID-19 sanitary products to Gracehaven, a center in Cincinnati that provides housing and other resources for survivors of human trafficking. Congratulations, Perdale!!!
Dr. Lee A. Farrow, History Professor at Auburn University at Montgomery, along with a team of volunteers, faithfully makes gorgeous bracelets to go in each WITKIT®. Dr. Farrow personalizes each bracelet with a butterfly charm and an empowering word, such as beauty, gifted, peace, power, faith and adorable. After all, menstruating youth need free period products, as well as love!
