Montgomery 7th-grader honored for service, awarded $2,500 to donate for COVID-19 response

Breanna and Brooke won a $250 award for Women In Training - WIT for spreading joy during the #COVID19 pandemic! The $250 will sponsor WITKITS with unscented period products, unscented soap, lotion, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, socks, panties, a protective facial mask, a journal, and a personalized bracelet for one girl for a whole year. Thank you, Southern Black Girls and Women's Consortium!
The Daily Point of Light Award is presented by Points of Light* each day, celebrating the power of individuals to spark change and improve the world. Breanna and Brooke, the WIT co-founders, are honored to receive a joint Daily Point of Light!
